I am currently looking after trackway, traffic management and backstays on my job as well as helping others with there role on the project day to day I will set my subcontractors to work and supervise them as well as preparing lookaheads for the works planned in the coming weeks for them to arrange there resources for the works that are required
While working on my project I have learnt many new skills such as how to use surveying equipment I.e a gps and total station I have also learnt the process of paper work and applying for permits and the correct way to apply for permits I have also learnt how to manage subcontractors
My program hasn’t officially started but the relationships I have gained on my site with colleagues has helped and I have enjoyed doing my job and meeting others I also enjoy the training that I go on which shows how my company is investing into my future and allowing me to get the training I need to improve areas that I’m weak in
I have had many issues with the organisation of my program I didn’t actually know what was happening with my program as I was being told different things by different people and never given a full explanation of my program I still am not 100% on what is happening with my program but have a start with how it’s starting but still do not know the final part of my program
My line manager and colleagues support me a lot especially my line manager who has helped me improve on my skills and has made me work harder and push myself to be the best that I can and has helped me with personal and work issues and helped find more information about things I’m not sure on
Due to not officially starting my education side of the program yet I can’t answer this question to the best of my ability but for internal and external training for my job the provider has always given me a good experience and helped me get the relative qualifications to do my job
I haven’t started my education yet so can not answer this question correctly but In the case of training internally to get the correct competency’s it has helped me do my job as it provides me with the information I need to do my job correctly and safely
