My daily duties surround supporting 3 IT Service Management Toolsets (ITSM) as well as producing analytical reports on a daily/weekly basis. My responsibilities include carrying out daily support activities such as incident resolution within the agreed SLA, responding to colleagues email, telephone and other queries regarding the above applications. Other roles include producing a weekly report reminding Service Leads of Incidents which are about to breach SLA or have already done so. These reports require a script/query to be run in HP Service Manager 7 in order to extract the Incident details.
I have learnt lots of new skills that include technical and also personal skills. I have learnt new programming languages, 3 ITSM toolsets and lots of new on the job skills.
I have very much enjoyed the programme. My team are great and help me in any way they can. The place I work is fantastic and has lots of great perks. There is a gym on site, starbucks etc.
I feel very valued by my team - they include me in big projects and make me feel like a valuable member of the team.
Could be better, with room for improvement.
I received quite a lot of support, however sometimes they would speak to you like a pupil rather than a professional.
Lots of support from my employer.
At first it was great - it's a fantastic salary for an apprentice and not many other places would offer such a good package. However, I have now finished my apprenticeship and still no word on a pay increase.
Yes, lots. I have travelled all over the country with work, staying in fantastic hotels (all expense paid) and worked in some amazing modern offices. There are also lots of opportunities to take part in volunteering and there is always someone who wants to socialise outside of work.
Yes
Great company with amazing benefits.
Get involved with as much stuff as you can.
