Worked in the Project Evolution Team at Unilever within UniOps, in the Employee Experience space. I have created and adapted internal Unilever sites to create visually engaging content for the employees at Unilever. Another example of this is a weekly update email to a range of employees in the space of Hybrid working to keep them informed of external sentiments towards the future of work. Further duties have included scheduling meetings/appointments as well as coordinating schedules. In addition, I have needed to create presentations that I have presented to senior stakeholders, ensuring I meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly. Also have had duties to independently research using internal and external resources
I have developed the skill of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. I have developed the new skill of SharePoint in order to edit and create SharePoint websites. I've also increased my ability to share and present to a variety of audiences within meetings. This has included a number of different stakeholders ranging from manager and above.
When I was on the Business Administration apprenticeship programme, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Multiverse, my training provider, was more than just an average training provider. They gave opportunities to help to develop and grow my current skills at the time and gave apprentices a community to socialise and work with.
The programme was very well structured and organised as it had alumni of previous years too. They were past the experimentation stage with apprentices and were familiar with the programmes that they were offering. It was clear to apprentices on what they needed to complete and by when, including various assignment deadlines.
My employer provided a great amount of support to apprentices. For example, when we started in the company itself, we were put into online groups with the apprentices who had started at the same time we did and were in the same office. This allowed us to be acquainted with those who we may meet in person, in the office, beforehand.
A huge amount of support was provided to us apprentices from Multiverse, my training provider, when working toward my qualification. We were assigned a coach who would assist us with the assignments that were due as well as the work we had to complete. They were very attentive and supportive.
The content that I learnt through my training provider, Multiverse, allowed me to perform better in my role. The work that I carried out in my day to day had basic links to my apprenticeship coursework and therefore it allowed me to perform better in my role as I was acquainted with the content.
At my work, I was presented with a number of social activities available to me. An example of this is that we had the ability to be part of programmes when we started the course. This included an outreach programme that I was personally part of. I was able to reach out to schools in order to spread the word on apprenticeships.

Unilever as a company is extremely supportive and provides amazing programmes that young people can get involved in. They are not discriminative and regardless of your background you have the opportunity to get involved in an extremely successful organisation. Unilever has a vast array of programmes and courses you can be involved in.
If you're applying to Unilever, you must ensure that your application stands out. Unilever is a highly competitive organisation and in order to be at the forefront of it, your application is what will give you the advantage to stand out. The application process is in depth and you must explain all the experiences you have had thus far.
