I support individuals over the age of 18 with autism, learning disabilities and mental health concerns to live an independent life. I help with shopping, cleaning, maintaining their home, taking them to appointments and helping to book them if they need me to as well.
I have developed my general knowledge and learnt a lot more on the acts that are involved with care
Very well structured and organised
A reasonable amount but could be more often
I receive lots of support and guidance if I have any issues
Lots better as I have a better understanding
Not really, occasional social activity
Yes
Because I feel they do listen and are a good employer and help to work around my schedules too
Go for it! I have learnt lots of life skills as well as more knowledge about autism and mental health, I receive lots of help and guidance from the team I’m in and feel like I am making a difference
