Looking after fleet vehicles, servicing, repairing defects, inspections.
I’ve learnt loads of new skills in lots of areas. In mechanical, technical, electrical, networking, presenting. I’ve gone on lots of extra courses, including DOFE and I am being put through cat C HGV license.
I enjoy the work a lot. I’m always learning new skills and knowledge. Everyday is a school day and I’ve done a lot thag I wouldn’t have ever done in college, the pay is good and the overtime is there
Fairly well organised. College was delayed due to covid so the apprenticeship will take 3 months longer to complete but overall it’s okay.
Employer gives a lot of support in learning and progressing my career. I have been on many external training courses and activities that have been enjoyable
The college is very supportive, I feel like the tutors really enjoy sharing their knowledge which is nice as they go the extra mile to help you with anything you ask weather it’s related to the course or not
The qualification and course will really help as I’ve learnt so much.
DOFE, stretch projects, apprentice challenge all networking, weeks away, things that can push you outside or your comfort zone into other aspects of the company
Yes
Look after their employees. Like to see people progress, a lot of extra courses and activities if you want them
If you want to progress your career stick to it and make it known so that the higher ups can help
