  • Varied role, either training as a manager in store or working on placement. This involves long hours and commitment to your store, working with people to give the best service to our customers.

  • I have developed and learned countless skills. Opportunities are presented regularly to train on courses, and as an apprentice you are exposed to a range of opportunities to develop.

  • The programme is challenging, but the rewards are more than worth the work you put in.

  • The programme is varied in structure, personally my programme has changed dramatically, but my needs are always met.

  • My employer always supports me, when I request progression my needs are always met.

  • The university is outstanding, cannot be faulted.

  • The university knowledge may not always be directly applicable, but it is certainly going to come in handy in the future.

  • There are ample opportunities to network depending on your interests.

  • You will always be supported, as long as you put the work and effort in.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Morrisons?
  • Work hard both before and during your apprenticeship, it’s a difficult course to get into, but if you make the cut it will most certainly have been worth the effort you put in.
