On a day to day basis I complete quotations and issue tenders to many clients. The works I quote for tend to be for streetlighting, pedestrian guardrails, posts and signage.
I have learnt lots of communication skills through my involvement in many meetings. I have also developed my knowledge on contracts and am confidently able to answer queries received by clients now also
I enjoy the office environment I work in and generally get along with those whom I work alongside. My programme at university is good and I am learning a lot from the modules covered so far.
The programme is structured well and there is communication between my company and university which helps everything run effectively
I receive a lot of support and my line manager is approachable and there if I need help.
I receive support and when emailing my course leader for help/assistance I receive timely replies and answers to my queries
At the minute I have struggled to link some of the modules covered in my degree to my role in the company which makes it hard when completing my assignments sometimes as I have no experience to draw from in certain situations
There has been a Duke of Edinburgh award opportunity been offered to me and a residential team building opportunity at the Brathay Hall for all apprentices across the company.

I have enjoyed my time here so far and the company support any further qualifications/training I would seek to explore after my degree.
