Insurance Professional Review

My Role is to support the broking team and liase with clients in order to provide an efficient day to day smooth running of operations. We help place business in renewals and maintain existing clients and programmes.

I have learnt skills of communication due to the various and many calls we have borh with colleagues and clients.

I very much enjoy my programme as i am very interested in the industry and i enjoy the work environment that i am amongst.

My Programme is very well organised, having been provided with adequate training and support from day 1. I have regular meetings with my skills coach and regular catch up calls with my mentors and managers.

I receive plenty of support from my employer largely through guidance with issues i have through mentors and manager. Whenever i am stuck with new issues, the team are always happy to assist.

I receive a large amount of support in regards to my qualifications. I have a regular team call where i liase with my skills coach where we discuss timelines and the best use of revision time etc.

The qualification allows me to reflect on my current performance and analyse areas which i can approve upon. Whatever i learn on my apprenticeship, assists me on a day to day basis within my role.

There are a few extra curricular activities on offer, but i would encourage for more to be provided - with a wider range.

Yes

There is a wide variety of opportunities whereby the company provides internal growth and treats you well through various incentives. It is a nice working environment and i would definitely recommend to others.

I would advice others to heavily research the ins and outs of the company and understand what role and team they are applying for.
