  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role involves booking and changing customers holidays and giving them advice with any issues that may occur. On a day to day basis I like to complete some of my apprenticeship work in between serving and answering customers.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been able to develop on my confidence as I am required to talk to new people everyday. It has also helped me with my communication skills and being able to adapt the way I speak to different customers.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot as its giving me the experience and knowledge I can use for all future careers and its bring me happiness being able to see customers happy with their holidays.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very organised, my managers and apprentice coach are always helping me and providing me with work, as well as explaining all training to me clearly. They do not rush me and are happy with me to take things at my own pace.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive lots of support from my employer, who is always asking me how I am doing and always getting someone to help me incase i am struggling with anything.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have full communication with my coach who marks my work and gives me feedback whenever i submit work. She always tells me how well I am doing and what extra things I can add to my work to improve it.

  • It helps me to perform better because it gives me lots of knowledge on new areas and different sources so that I can help advise customers on the best areas to go.

  • We have training sessions after shifts sometimes.
