In my role I do a lot of sales and market analysis for the market we sell into, I report the sales back to the leadership team and we use the numbers and insights from the market to create a strategy for us to increase our market shares.
Yes I have learned many new skills about analysing data, doing market research, excel and powerpoint, presenting and creating a category story.
I really enjoy the work side of the apprenticeship programme, I struggled with the university study side of the apprenticeship as only having 1 day of the week for uni meant that I prioritised work over uni and left things until the last minute, and not having a great balance. However, my manager was very supportive of my need for study time which was amazing, although the workload from uni was almost unmanageable at times it all endd up working out fine :)
The work to uni ratio is very heavily work based which I enjoy but also means that uni quality of work is sacrificed slightly. The communication between university and L'Oreal could definitely be better and Uni of Kent is not the most organised but overall I have found it very positive.
Amazing support from my line manager and my team.
Kent are good when you ask for the help, however if you don't have the confidence to ask for the help or additional support I feel you could be left under the radar as contact time is so low.
The course is designed so you can study things that are applicable to the work role so it is good, however some of the modules don't feel that applicable and more of a box ticking exercise which I cant say I have learned an awful lot from.
Lots of social events which are great
Yes
The family feel, inclusivity and social elements are amazing, I have had great managers who are very supportive and the company has great benefits.
Research the company, be prepared to work hard and come with a positive and pro-active attitude :)
