Investment operations. Involves anything around investments and the processes within including ISA transfers, Cash transfers, client information updates and helping front line staff with client issues. Back end work taking work load from front line staff (Client facing).
I have developed many skills these include, communication, team leadership, teamwork and understanding lots around investments and how a big corporation like NatWest works.
It's been a really pleasant experience. Lots of support and my team have helped loads whenever I have needed time to complete work or have queries. Couldn't ask for more.
Very well organised. No problems at all. You have deadlines for coursework to be completed each month. Once you enter end point assessment you are supported plenty and will always know next steps.
Full support. # I have never had an issue and I have asked plenty of times for help or extra time to work on coursework. My team have been really supportive.
I was given a point of contact (training provider who ran the NatWest apprentices) my training provider has been great, any queries she has been quick to answer and it's been really good.
It has helped with general knowledge for example around etiquette, larger businesses and how the work world works. I would say benefits people mostly if you haven't done qualifications around business before. I had studied Business so it just furthered my knowledge in certain areas.
I work at Coutts within NatWest. There are social activities but I would say mostly its networking event. If you are in London then there are lots more events and social activities but that is Coutts specific. I'm not sure about NatWest
Yes
I've had a really pleasant experience and the work I'm doing now I'm passionate about and want to grow within the wealth management sector.
Let them know what you are interested in. If its private banking for example talk about that and any experience you may hold, it could mean they put you into that area.
