I work with the web development team. My day to day roles consists on working on portals such as Service Now and the Intranet.
I have worked on a ticket that required me making changes to the company website. I learnt we use sitecore to make these changes to the website. i hope to transfer these skills when resolving intranet queries.
I enjoy it thoroughly! I've learnt a lot in regards to different portals we use to complete our work. I enjoy the daily team meeting calls we have every week day to discuss service now tickets.
I believe it is very well organised. There is always a person or team you can go to with any query which is very resourceful and time efficient. so in regards to training/studying there is [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]. She personally helps all trainee's move further into the program with discussions of what department we may like to apply for reaching the end of the traineeship ect. There is also Fitch which provides help in regards to the qualification for studying. I have weekly teams meeting calls with my line manager aswell as every week day a teams call with the web content team.
I receive a great amount of support from my employer. I have weekly calls for a catch up of the week and if i have any queries. I also have every week day calls with my line manager and the web content team to discuss service now tickets.
There is Fitch which provides help in regards to the qualification for studying. A study book is also provided to watch read alongside the videos on Fitch. Fitch also provides Mock Tests before exam is taken. I am also aware you can have 2 or 3 study days before the actual exam.
I believe is gives me a foundation for understanding they key points I am required to know. I believe it will give me more insight to what direction I am heading within the company too.
we have a lot of Professional networking event which are great. You meet a lot of people sometimes within you department and sometimes outside your department depending the nature of the event.
