My day-to-day job involves supporting the financial operations within the business and posting P&L postings for invoices we receive from large suppliers.
Yes, I have learnt many new skills and developed existing skills during my time in this role such as networking, leadership, team work and communication
I enjoy how well communication is in my programme and how supportive my learning provider is.
It is very well organised and structured in terms of schedules/timetables. Perhaps a little too structured at times but that may be a positive overall as a good structure is needed for such an intense programme
I receive much support from my employer and I am contacted frequently to ensure I am dealing with my workload and don't have too much going on.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider and I would say this is what I have been most impressed with. If there is any doubt from my training provider with mocks or tests I have done then they will immediately contact me and offer me support and guidance.
Not as much as I would like it to. My qualification is not as much involved in my role as it should be and I am having a difficult time trying to move into a relevant role within the business which can be demotivating for me.
I don't think I have heard of any sports team occurring within the business but this is something I would be interested in.
Yes
Because of the support from a massive company along with security and safety that comes with working for a company like Tarmac. However, I would be inclined to not recommend based on the poor salary but this would depend on individual needs.
To make sure you negotiate a good progression package inline with your programme along with making sure you are getting paid what you are worth and try to have salary increments based on your performance and qualification progression which Tarmac do not currently offer. This can be good for motivation.
