I have an administrative role where I keep records accurate, process payments for private assets & set up new trades.
I have developed every skill I already had, specifically the skills I improve on daily are my communication skills, numerical skills and professional soft skills
I have loved it so far. I have been given so many opportunities to go beyond the training & go to schools and influence other young people. I love my team & the other apprentices are so friendly.
It is very structured & organised with well detailed plans of training, exams, targets - for both the studying side & work side of the apprenticeship.
I have as much support as I need. If I feel I have a problem, they are they to help solve it, and if I am getting on well, I am given the space to flourish.
We have regular catch ups & they are always just an email away.
It teaches me about the wider sector that I work in. It has meant I have gained a better understanding of my role and where I fit in the world of financial services
There are social events. I have joined the social committee and we are planning fun things to bring people back into work and allow fun networking opportunities.
Yes
It is a well organised, value centered and inclusive environment where I feel I can be myself and also work on improving myself.
I would be as honest as possible, reflect your true self & if you're a good fit, then you will be seen. I think you need to see if the company actually fits your morals and preferences, not just if you fit into the company.
