I work in a GP practice as a trainee ACP, currently doing the ACP at masters level. I have a triage clinic, where I asses diagnose and treat patients. I also manage chronic diseases and optimise medications.
Yes, clinical assessment, non-medical prescribing
Really enjoyed the programme. It was intense and hard work, with working in the practice as well.
Very well structured. The educators were great, and I really enjoyed the virtual delivery. In fact this was one of the main reasons I opted to do this course, since I have kids, and means I could be at home.
I had a very supportive manager, and my GP mentor has been amazing
The university have been incredibly supportive and there when I needed them, with advice and encouragement
I will be accepted more as being capable of this level
Yes, but i have no time!
Yes
To learn more, develop, and my role is requiring it
Do a three year not two, especially if working full time and you have kids (like me)
