Developed a whole depth of new knowledge within banking, enhanced skills in stakeholder management and learnt how to adapt to a corporate styled role.
I enjoyed the ease of learning, the learning portal was extremely user friendly and accessible across all of my devices. I was able to seek career development opportunities through the programme.
I thought it was really well structured, a clear plan for the 12 months which allowed me to plan ahead.
My support was good, I was supported to attend events and complete my own projects through out the programme which enabled me to make the most of the apprenticeship.
My support from my training provider was excellent, any time of day and any day of the week my tutor was extremely responsive and highly helpful with any issues or questions I had.
I believe it supported me and allowed me to learn new concepts and approaches, though I don't believe it gave me any further benefit to my other non apprentice colleagues due to the particular team I was within as it was a more process fast passed role, where as my apprenticeship was more theory based.
I am involved with councils that are ran within the organisation, which offer support and development events for colleagues across the organisation.
Yes
NatWest offer a supportive community within the organisation, with a variety of options towards career progression which the organisation encourage. I believe the whole ethos and purpose of the brand is inspiring and a company I am proud to be apart of.
My main tip is to be yourself, bring your authentic self to a role with NatWest. Be inspired by the wide range of opportunities and amazing career progression offered. My one piece of advise would be for interview I would recommend is to prepare even more than you think is enough, utilise the CPC's that are provided in your interview pack and reflect a CPC in each answer. I would also recommend to bring your notes to the interview, and to take notes throughout the interview to ensure you're answering all of the questions, as the questions can be lengthy.
