On Monday you will attend university lectures and labs. From Tuesday to Friday you will be working for Accenture on a project you are assigned to. Depending on the project the tasks will vary. The project I am on we have daily standout calls and calls throughout the day and complete the tasks we were given in the morning.
I have learn a lot of new things while studying at university such as learning the code in Java and creating websites with HTML and CSS. With Accenture there are a lot of training courses that you can apply for also.
I am enjoying the programme currently. Everyone at Accenture are very friendly and welcoming. They are always willing to help.
The programme is well structured. We have a two week block module where we just attend university and once that is completed university will be everyone Monday. Once on a project with Accenture your manager will be there to support you with any questions you have and so will your people lead.
When assigned to the project everyone is very supportive and they want you to succeed. If you have any other problems the HR department is very useful. If you have any special needs or assistance they will provide help for you also.
The lecturers are always available to message via teams or email and they will respond when they can.
I have not been able to apply what I have learnt at university yet in a role at Accenture as the roles I have been on have not been very technical. I look forward to enrolling on a technical project to use the skills I have learnt.
Accenture hold social events to allow you to network with other employees. Sports clubs are currently not running due to Covid-19.
