Currently, I am on the bench waiting for a new role. Previously, I was working as a scrum master. It's very daunting being on the bench as there are not many roles available and the available roles require training.
I have learnt some skills mainly through the university though. I have learnt some software development skills and lots of business agility skills.
It all depends on your project/ if you are in a project. Some projects can be very tedious so it's important to find something suitable for you... this is easier said than done.
The university is fairly well structured. The University of East London is not very good at all though. Accenture can be structured well but it just depends on your luck
University gives you lots of support. Accenture has a few opportunities for support but some of the apprenticeship staff are not very helpful and can make you not want to reach out for help.
In regards to uni, there is lots of support available. At Accenture not so much.
It's quite nice how well aligned the degree is to the roles available at Accenture
There are lots of networking events available. Also, there are many side of desk activities that you can take part in. I have not seen any sports teams.
Yes
Because, it is a great opportunity to train up and get into the industry.
Make sure you know your history on Accenture. Learn about some of the larger projects that Accenture has taken part in. Be proactive and engaged. And smile!
