As a trade counter customer advisor, my role largely consists of forming strong realtionship with trades people. I achieve this by being efficent. Serving, placing orders, stock control are some of the things a typical day has for myself.
In a whole? Probably not learnt any NEW skills, i have however brushed upon knowledge when it comes to the enviroment, rules and regulations etc.
I enjoyed my program overall, this was mostly due to my learning provider who was very supportive and always at hand to help me, this doesn't seem to always be the case so I consider myself lucky.
I found the program to be very oragnised, I knew when my meetings were, when my deadlines were etc. Again, this is only due to my learning provider being excellent at being organised with their work and students.
At the start of the program, not a huge amount. I was left to my own to delicate hours away from the shop floor to complete work. Towards the end, new management were better on this.
100% support from my training provider on this end, never felt in the dark or totally lost. Was very patient when I didn't understand modules and even booked extra meetings for me as and when needed.
Overall, I wouldn't say I'm massively better at my role. There is an improvement, but nothing ground braking in my opinion. However, it is always hard to evulate one's self so perhaps there's more then I've noticed.
Nothing, this is the one aspect I feel my place of work could improve on massively.

It's hard to say in 50 words. It depends what you're looking for, if you just want to do a 9-5 and not think about it when you're home-B&Q can be that. However if you want a career, you'll be here forever to see benifits.
Think about what you need, if you want a consisent job with overtime then apply. If you wan't to gain promotions and build the ladder, you better be ready to commit years of your life. And I'm talking 10+ for anything serious like manager. 6/10 overall.
