On a day to day basis I will have regular catch ups with my team and clients to get an update on work for the day and areas of the audit to prioritise. At the end of the day i will catch up again with my team to discuss how far we have come in the day.
I have learnt various new skills- the skill I more recognise is my professional communication skills. Prior to starting I had no real experience in real world jobs and had little understanding of how to communicate with clients and colleagues, however overtime I have gained the skills to commutate effectively
The programme has been orgnised very well. There is a dedicated team to deal with any issues or queries we may have, I regularly catch up with my performance manager to discuss any issues I may be facing and there is also a clear path for my future which is layed out.
I recieve a lot of support. As I mentioned i regularly cacth up with my performance manager. I also have a buddy system where an older colleage can mentor us to help us and we can ask them questions we wouldnt feel comfortable to ask senior colleagues which really helps.
My training provided provides a lot of support. They give us a step to step guides of how to pass the exams, as well as books which all the exam questions we could ever need and all the coontent we can need. We also have the access to contact our tutor if we are ever stuck with anything.
There are many extra curricular activites to get involved in. Every month there is a social within my department where we get to socialise with our colleagues. I also sometimes attend 5 a side football with colleagues within my depatment. Last year I did a 20k walk for charity as part of out ESG agenda.

KPMG provides a great base, there is a lot of people age which I network with to advance our careers, it is a reputable company with a lot of opportunities within. They also pay above average against over employers at my level within the industry. I actually recconommened my brother to join KPMG next year and he is doing!
Firstly, don't be disheartened if you don't get the job. It is extremely competitive with only a small few getting through. Secondly, embrace it, take what you have learnt from other job applications and apply it to your KPMG one, also check out the values on the website and apply them in your application.
