My main role is to ensure the hotel is safe and secure for all guests staying within the hotel. On nights we do hourly walk rounds, stock up and clean the hotel ready for the next day.
I have learnt so many new skills as this is the first time I've worked in the hospitality business. I know how to adapt to customers different needs and requirements and deal with issues on the spot.
I really enjoy this as its giving me a better understanding into the hospitality business and why we do things the way we do.
I do enjoy the programme although I did find the online learning pages hard to navigate at first.
I received full support from my managers and team members.
My training provider is amazing, nothing is too much trouble and always on hand to explain things so I understand.
I think they've helped me greatly I not only know how to do my job properly but understand why it's done that way
Yes, many team nights out :)
