Learning and working in all aspects of the rail engineering industry, such as track maintenance, repair and renewal, structures examination, de-vegetation, signals and comms.
I have learned many new skills and developed my existing skill set in Maths, english and IT
I enjoy working in different roles and working with different people from different sectors of the company
It is well organised and i enjoy doing different jobs every week.
i receive lots of support from a mentor and have help available all the time.
i get a lot of help and support before i am due to do a course or exam and anything i am unsure about or need help i only have to ask.
it will help me a lot as it will ensure i am competent to carry out my job role and i have gained many more qualifications and competencies allowing me to earn more and do more.
yes we have a close group and do fun activities however there could be more.

because it is a fantastic career afterwards if you put the work in during the apprenticeship.
