Working on client projects within a team and auditing their financials to a reasonable level.
I took 7 ACA exams whilst working so I learnt how to manage my time efficiently. Working in teams also helped improve my communication and team-work skills.
It was enjoyable, especially being with other placement students and recent graduates. This meant I could relate with other people about my experience.
Initially, it felt like the staff didn't really know what exactly placement students were, however, over time things got better and things were pretty much well organised.
I learnt a lot about the values and beliefs of the firm and experienced first hand how lovely the people are.
It definitely gave me an eye-opener to what I would not like to do in the future so I am grateful.
