1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I serve customers, i also complete all shop task that need to be done daily. furthermore i am now able to use the forklift so i often go serve customers outside

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt what is expected of me when serving customers giving them 5 star service. I have also learnt how to deal with situations for example like a customer complaint I am happy to listen to what they have to say to see if i can get it resolved

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i really enjoyed my programme

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

my programme was well organised, we had 1 group webinar a month which was 3 hours long but if i ever needed extra support my leader was more then happy to have a meeting

i had plenty of support from Travis Perkins, i also had great support from my colleagues in branch

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had great support from my trainer, she was always willing to help all I had to do was ask.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification and learning has helped a lot to better my role within Travis Perkins making me more confident and helped me learn more what is expected of me.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Every Christmas we have a Christmas party which we go and do something as a team.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Travis Perkins Plc?

i would recommend doing a apprenticeship within Travis Perkins as it helps with your knowledge about the business and allows to understand what is expected of you whilst learning all the skills that come with it.
