I learnt a lot of the daily tasks a trainee solicitor would do, as well as got an insight of what the culture in Pinsent Masons is really like. I have upskilled myself in getting involved in very intellectually demanding discussions such as the Jaffa Cake debate and Eviva Presentation.
I genuinely enjoyed this work experience. I have learnt a lot whilst also having fun collaborating with other students. This opportunity was most definitely worthwhile.
I could see that there’s definitely a lot of thought and planning so that this work experience would be successful.
The accounts or stories of the trainee solicitor gave me a vivid insight of the company’s incredible culture.

No
There were numerous opportunities — from group presentations to lunch networking session.
Yes
Pinsent Masons demonstrates a conscious effort into encouraging young people into pursuing law. They have made a programme that bridge the gap of knowledge we have about the law firm, the lifestyle, and the culture.
I would say, make your application very specific to Pinsent Masons. Show that you have a genuine interest of the firm through researching their Out-law website, listening to podcast, and integrating them to your other interests and hobbies.
