Presentations from trainees and solicitors at Pinsent Masons as well as interactive discussions and debates, and exercises typical to a trainee at the firm.

Learned the skills required for a trainee at Pinsent Masons as well as the typical day in the life and roles of a solicitor. Developed communication skills with my peers and public speaking in debates.

I enjoyed the work experience greatly and learned many new skills and knowledge. Everyone at the firm was friendly and helpful and very accommodating.

Very well organised, all sessions were prepared in advance and laid out in a calendar for each day so we were fully prepared.

I learned a lot about the company culture, such as social gatherings and the firm’s rugby team. The solicitors talked us through the typical day in the life of a lawyer at Pinsent Masons and answered any questions in detail.

This work experience has helped me realize that I am passionate about law and will go on to study it at university in the future.
