For a week, I had online work experience, discovering the working life as BDO and also the different sectors there are, with talks from multiple different employees about their daily life.
I improved my networking skills, and also learnt more about the company. The case study specifically improved my analysis skills and was very fun overall.
I really enjoyed it, as I learnt more about BDO and about the people who work there, and their sectors. There were so many opportunities to ask questions, and for smaller groups to talk to each other.
It was very well organised, the EiC team was very helpful, and always resent the links in case someone needed.
I learnt a lot about the company culture (there was not one negative) and also about the environment from the people who work there, so they have first hand knowledge
It has made me confident that I want to work in the finance sector, and has also made me very excited to possibly work at BDO in the future
There was no cost
Yes, there were so many opportunities, in both large and small groups.
Yes
The company culture and also the sectors to work in were all very well explained and also sounds like it would be a great place to work.
Try to network as much as you can, and try to stand out
