Involved receiving information of what a career at BDO may look like and on different areas of the accounting world such as Tax, Advisory, Auditing, Outsourcing and others like innovation and Digital. Also had many opportunities to engage and ask questions frequently from experts in the industry.
Communication and networking, time management, planning (when dealing with a project), awareness in the finance industry.
To a high extent, as I found it was very engaging.
Very well organised with a full timetable and meeting links sent in order and sent again just before the event in case they couldn't be found. The timing on the meetings was incorrect in some cases and could have been improved.
The program was very focused on this so I learnt about this in large volumes. I really loved how they talked about their culture and how many talkers spoke about their personal experience and how BDO and its community helped them out.
Not greatly, I felt there was opportunities to go a bit more in depth for certain career paths at some points.
No however we received BDO goods such as hoody and a notebook etc.
Yes many.
Yes
Due to its current position as a large but developing accountancy firm, and also its great culture and positive working environment.
