Mixture of lecture-style information sessions, panels, group exercises on realistic business tasks and independent legal training tasks.
Understanding and drafting legal documents, team work, creative problem solving, eye for detail, confidence and determination
Very interesting, insightful, and enjoyable activities overall
Very well organised and clear throughout how it would be run. Any questions or problems were quickly resolved by the early talent team.
The in person insight day was particularly useful for this, however even the online sessions made it clear what company culture was like through the various group activities and panels.
Very useful as gave a realistic outlook into day-to-day tasks without sugar-coating or glamorising the job, whilst still showing the variety of interesting tasks lawyers do.
Networking events took place both in person and online, although with limited success online. However, there were panels of solicitors, trainees etc that made up for this
Yes
Very friendly atmosphere, work seems challenging and stretching without making the environment gruelling. Variety of teams and work seems excellent.
Make sure to sell yourself and really show how your experiences make you a valuable and well-rounded person
