Work experience Review

The work experience involved heating presentations from solicitors and trainee solicitors alike. We also got to complete some tasks that were reflective of the work of a solicitor, which I found incredibly helpful. In particular, I really enjoyed learning about different types of law such as employment and contractual law.

I learnt to be more analytical when reading documents, and how to condense information. I also learnt the importance of commercial awareness in law, and I now aim to make sure that I gain my own commercial awareness. I’ve learnt that law also has different aspects that can make it more suitable for everyone.

It was really well organised and it was a nice experience.
