Insight day with workshops, a tour of the office and talks with trainee solicitors.

How to work effectively and efficiently in a group with good communication, the different areas of law and how they vary from each other, how to construct a precise argument and how to read and apply complicated laws.

I really enjoyed my work experience and looked forward to each day, as there was such a breadth of different activities and talks I knew I would learn a lot from. Being able to not only network with working professionals, but other students with likeminded interests was especially rewarding.

Extremely well organised - everyone knew what they were doing and when, and there was time taken into account for comfort breaks.

At first I thought such a big law firm would be very intimidating but, I instantly learnt how welcoming and friendly everyone was.

This work experience has solidified my passion for the law and has made me realise exactly how much I want to pursue this career.
