As an E1 support assistant I am responsible for overlooking the E1 portal. My main roles are setting up new starters on the system, removing leavers and setting up business units. I also set up approval routes and delegate approvals for staff that are on annual leave
Yes I have developed my IT skills as I am now using more software than I did so I have become more confident in this. I am also strengthening my communication skills on a daily basis.
I enjoy my programe as I am learning new things everyday and it is giving me the confidence I need.
I would say it is very organized , My tutor's always outlines my coursework and deadlines clearly which helps me a lot and helps me balance both work and coursework properly.
My employer supports me a lot, She is normally involved in my tutor calls so she is up to date with what I'm doing, And she allows me to have scheduled time off work to focus on my coursework which really does help.
My training provider gives me a lot of support. Whenever I need help I just have to email or call and they will always be there to help me. Whenever my tutor sets out new training or coursework it is always presented in my learning style so I am easily able to understand it clearly.
It helps me a lot. As my apprenticeship is a Administration one and my role has a lot of admin in it. The apprenticeship has given me a lot of confidence especially in understanding what Admin is and how important it is to a company.
We do have a few social activities for example we have a hackathon coming up and the admin members sometimes get involved in careers fairs.
Yes
It is a friendly and supportive environment. There are also so many career progression routes you can take.
Be yourself and make a good impression.
