  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work on the counter l, so I serve people that come in and need stuff the same day or sort out a delivery for them. It also Involves me putting stock away, doing quotes, emails, and phone calls. I also speak to suppliers and put on trade days for our customers.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to get better at my time keeping and plan my day, so it’s made me more productive because I get more done. Also it’s made me develop my customer service skills in ways that help me serve the customer better and get to their needs quicker.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would go give the ratting 8/10 because it did help me a lot and improve my skills over all in my job but I felt some of the work did it really go with the job that I was doing so at times it did get a bit boring.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It’s well structured because the further you go in the program the more the work makes sense and into more detail. My trainer organised the work structure very well and made sure that i understand the work before we moved on.

  • My employer didn’t really give me enough time to do the work

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received all the support that I needed too. She would push me to do my best and try everything qualification that I could of done. She couldn’t of done any more is supporting me to do my best and achieve the best result I possibly could. I’m just happy I could give her a good result at the end of the course.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that my qualification helps me in my job role as it’s got everything to do with customer service and how to treat them equally and fairly ( that’s just one of the things we covered). Also made me more confident when I get challenged on things because I know my stuff better..

  • Yes

  • I would recommend this to a friend because it has helped me understand my job role a lot better and it provides a recognised qualification at the end of it. It also puts more confidence in you because you learn more about your job role and it makes you strive to be better


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Woseley UK?
  • Be open to learn new things because it’s worth it
