My role involves on a day to day basis processing any contracts that our business receives from our sales teams after the point of signing from our customers, and then processing these contracts onto our internal systems and raising any necessary install visits or dispatch for our customers to receive their units on contract
I have developed many of my existing skills since joining the business, mainly my communication skills as our roll will often involve us working out any kinks that may be encountered when processing our contracts with our sales teams, as well as my team working skills as I work withing a team of processors, who all work together to achieve deadlines
I enjoyed my programme greatly as it not only allowed me to enter employment for a great employer, but also helped me to develop my existing skills as well as develop new skills along the way, whilst also gaining an additional qualification as apart of my general employment with the business
The programme is very well structured upon joining the business, beginning with a 2 week introductory training programme where we are able to get up to speed with the general business processes as well as our bespoke IT software, followed by a gradual introduction to the team I am now working on, all whilst receiving gradual up skill on our system processes
I receive a tremendous amount of support from my employer, specifically from my manager, who is always on hand to help with any issues I may encounter in my day to day work, as well as my general colleagues, all of which support each other to create a strong team atmosphere
My training provider offered a great deal of support throughout the course of my apprenticeship, always being flexible with any deadlines that were in place and being able to schedule apprenticeship based work around the requirements of my day to day role and not interfering with any busy times we experience in the role
My qualification has helped me perform better in my day to day role by enhancing many of the skills I use in my day to day role, such as my communication skills an so on. It also gave me additional knowledge around the legal structures of business's, all of which is relevant to my day to day role
There are a variety of different company events that take place both during and outside of our working day, such as recently we in customer service had our annual customer service awards ceremony which I attended, as well as many ongoing activities at the moment for national customer service week
Yes
I would recommend PHS Group to a friend as not only are they an employer that gives you a great deal support and the working hours are very friendly, but additionally there is a great family atmosphere withing the office and additionally treat issues such as sustainability as a priority
The advise I would give to anyone who is looking to join PHS Group is to be social and engage with the other workers withing the business as there is a family atmosphere within the office and all colleagues are more than happy to help with any issues that you encounter in your role
