Coaching and supporting a team of Sales account managers to achieve their specific KPI and targets. This may be by call listening, side to side working, auditing processes followed, auditing work produced - reviewing the audits to spot areas for improvement, further training, further support or just enhancing the work already there and done by the Acc Mgr. We also have our own areas to manage and sell to with a series of KPIs and target we too have to meet.
The course was great in giving me many more skills - whether it be by understanding how the individual I am working with ticks and then changing my approach, becoming more adaptable to each person, scenario and outcome. It allowed me the time to learn these skills, enhance them with practice and validate my understanding with appraisal
I really loved it - it was very hard going from time to time - especially when we became really busy in the office. I will say it was more involved than I anticipated but that is on me not the course. It has given me such great insights and appreciation of what I need to do to move forward and develop myself too. My tutor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] Patient was amazing, extremely supportive too and that always helps.
Aptem were great - they really had everything sorted, laid out for you. Regular meetings with your tutor throughout the course and then workshop days too. Ian was so supportive, never missed a meeting even when he was poorly as he knew we had a meet. You have access to all the levels with a teaching session to suit all learning styles and the questions to suit - all your work is logged on your personal portal and training program and follows through step by step - very easy to use too
Support from employer was given in two ways - time away from my working schedule to be able to work through the course and the support in being able to utilize my learning and use my team almost as guinea pigs to practice my learning and support my growth through the process.
Great support - [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was pushing me all the way to complete the apprenticeship and gain my fCMgr from the CMI - he helped me work through how to present my work a little more concisely so as to not "waffle" too much. it proved invaluable in getting my presentation prepared and given within the allotted time scales
I think I have answered this previously in that it has enhanced my skill set to now include a greater understanding of our team and how I need to adapt my approach, presentation to different people or scenarios to get the same information across or outcome if it is an external customer. With my own account management I find it invaluable in my responses to my customers too
We now have an internal "facebook" type platform called Yammer and there are all sorts of different "chats" to get involved in some are work based - perks and benefits, HR others are extra curricular - Pets - Rugby - football. it is great to connect with colleagues in different divisions and parts of the country.
Yes
I find it a great place to work. PHs are great for supporting your personal development. They also have a great sustainability ethic too so are looking out for the environment - whether it be recycling our waste, electric vehicles, or the many more changes currently taking place. They are also invested in the staff well being - we have access to a healthcare wellbeing facility and we now have PHS Perks - a great source for discounts or cash back on a lot of your everyday expenses, all via an app on your phone that is sooooo easy to use.
Dependent on where you are looking at applying - know what you are applying for, what is involved in that position and do a bit of ground work to enhance your profile, whether it be at CV stage or when you undertaking your initial interview with the HR team. Be honest and open about your desires for your future and take on board all that is being given back to you.
