  • Managing a team of employment advisors supporting Universal credit recipients on the Restart Scheme. Supporting those participants to break down barriers preventing them entering employment, supporting upskilling & navigation and support with health and wellbeing.

  • Refined leadership, forecasting and general man management skills within a multi-team environment. Ran site both remotely and face-to-face

  • Tutors are knowledgeable and supportive and seek to support me with my own upskilling and knowledge enhancement

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured - Monthly workshops supplement 1-2-1 tutor led sessions, employer likewise is very supportive of my apprenticeship.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Provided with time to devote to the course, access to any support with any element of the course I might need and general support from both line management and L&D function of the business.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Minimum of 4-weekly catchups with tutor, however a constant open dialogue to ask questions or seek clarity or guidance with any due work. Open feedback sessions on work.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification reinforces a lot of what I already do / have knowledge of, so in main is acting as a brilliant enhancer as well as refresher with respect of leadership / management/ learning methodologies.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I support with my son's local football team as well as supporting on a ad-hoc basis with the local rugby team that he is also a part of.
