Running payroll for clients who employ carers in their own home. As a senior on the team I assist the team in doing this along side providing their training.
I have learnt a lot of new skills surrounding double entry bookkeeping and developed skills surrounding English and customer service.
I love the programme, I feel it is managed well and the course is taught very well.
The programme is structed extremely well, we are informed in advance of all dates of lessons, coursework deadlines and what is expected of us and when.
My employer is willing to provide what support I require but does need the occasional nudge to arrange time in other teams to assist with my work shadow record.
My training provider is excellent, their response time for emails is extremely efficient and they are very supportive no matter what the query may be.
I feel I have improved at aspects of my role due to the assistance I have received throughout my programme. With my tutor I have realised the areas in which I am less confident which has helped me know what I need to focus on.
