It involved talking part in calls and completing mock legal tasks to replicate what a lawyer would do on the daily
Reading and analysing documents, group discussions, summarising tasks
I generally enjoyed the placement however there were moments where I felt my time could have been spent better doing other types of tasks
very well organised, everything was arranged to a schedule so time was well kept, everyone involved knew what they were doing
it was very insightful. by talking to actual employees, it was easy to get a feel for the company culture and atmosphere
not very helpful for me personally because i was already on this career and other previous work experience placements helped me confirm that
no because i had no expenses
yes there were opportunities to network with my peers and also employees encouraged us to add them on LinkedIn
Yes
It was a great opportunity to gain an initial insight into the legal sector so I would recommend it to someone who is still unsure about a career in law.
Be yourself and honest in your application because that's all they are looking for!
