I oversee the apprenticeship delivery across BlueScreen IT including managing operational delivery staff and the strategic management of our programmes. I previously worked for Impact Futires where I started my apprenticeship.
My apprenticeship has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of management theories and how to apply them in my work. I have developed existing skills, and have been able to reflect and consider different ways of working to get better outcomes at work.
I have worked with two fantastic development coaches who have been very supportive. The learning has been accessible and I have enjoyed the programme.
The development coaches have been great on an individual basis and have structured the delivery of the programme to a good standard.
Both employers I have worked for during the programme have been outstanding, giving me support and opportunities to develop my skills.
My coaches have been flexible and supportive in working with me to create portfolio evidence in ways that were accessible in my busy role.
I better understand the theories behind what we do as managers, this has led me to be more focused in my practice achieving better outcomes.
