I work with the omnichannel manager, and I assist in the creation, amendments and analysis of various marketing activities. My day-to-day role includes creating and tracking metrics reports, producing key insights and actions based of these metrics. I have also developed and changed web content, marketing emails, sales presentations, training materials and developed congress processes etc
I have undertaken training and have developed multiple skills. Examples include working with a content management system, building email marketing and digital sales presentations. Other skills include learning how to manage my time effetely, creative thinking and accountability. This works well with the concepts taught in my apprenticeship.
The quality of the course is good and the resources on offer with my employer are also great. I do however feel as if some additional input from my provider would be beneficial to my overall growth and development.
I would say that the organisation of the programme is good as it provides flexibility for learners and lesson plans are clear. One thing I have noticed is work will be requested on one date and the submission date is a week from the initial date but that's not always disclosed meaning i rush the task
The support from my employer is great. They are asking me about my progress on a weekly basis and allow a full day for studies.
The support from the training provider is good. a clear action plan and set of goals is achieved on a monthly basis.
The training allows me to understand the concepts that are featured throughout my role and this insight allows me to make more informed decisions when conducting these activities. it also allows me to apply concepts to my role that may not have been implemented.
There are Corporate Responsibility Groups dedicated to implementing changes into the workplace. I am involved in a disability CRG but there are groups for other social issues such as LGBT inclusion. The company also funds 5 days paid leave to do volunteering and other social activates include sports clubs like group runs and football.
