As a teaching assistant I support students 1:1 during interventions and in class when working under the supervision of the class teaching. I work in both key stage 3 and 4 with children aged from 11-16 yrs.
I have learnt many new things from this course including curriculum information, child development theories and communication enhancements when working with different students.
I extremely enjoyed taking this course
It was structured perfectly to fit around areas I was working in at different times. The tutors made it very easy to understand what was expected at all times.
I received a huge amount of support from everyone involved.
The tutor provided endless support which was perfect.
I have learnt many helpful things from this course and my own ability has improved immensely.
There are many school clubs to get involved in from sports to craft clubs and even origami clubs.
