During my day role i manage a cross functional team who work a degree of autonomous and collaborative working at home and across our world network. I have regular interactions with high level internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring the overarching compliance within our engineering and maintenance teams
Doing my ILM L5 with Raise the bar has enabled me to learn more about my own self awareness and how to utilise this in my day to day interaction in a variety of arenas to maximise my own performance as well as those around me.
I really enjoy my programme and especially the support provided by the RTB team. I also find the open cohort with candidates from other industries and companies really adds to the depth and breadth of insight.
The course structure is clear and well laid out in a logical order with good timings to learn and apply each topic as we progress
My employee is fully committed to my course and working with the apprenticeship provider. My line manager is brilliant and really understands and is proactive in supporting me with time, and opportunities.
Lots, regular check-ins and coach session, workshops and open sessions to catch up with other cohorts.
I have found this has really benefitted me and helped me achieve my goal of becoming a manager form a previous L3 course and now having developed to L5 is really supporting me as i have moved up in my managerial career.
My industry has lots of external events and i have been lucky enough to attend and present/network at these events.
