We are in college from Monday-Friday with 2 workshop days, one for fabrication and another for Welding. We are using different equipment in the fabrication workshop using 3mm plate to create components for assessments. In welding we are training to use 2 different welding methods, MIG and MMA using 3-6mm plate and practising for assessments. We also have core units that need passed in 12 week blocks.
I feel more confident in my development in my people skills and leadership skills and how i can implament it in a workplace environment. I have also gained knowledge in different welding proccesses. I feel very confident in my fabrication skills as i have progressed through my assessments in a quick an efficient manner.
