helping to manage the hire department, customer facing role organising hire of construction equipment. Dealing with suppliers to arrange rehire equipment, servicing and testing equipment, customer account management etc
I have learned different types of leadership and management styles, models and methods for managing people and dealing with difficult situations, and ways to improve personal development
The programme was fantastic and I have learned and progressed myself professionally and personally because of this course. The course content was relevant, however during the course the structure changed which meant the learning on the reflective diary was different to the learning required on classroom - this lead to confusion. Some areas were vague which I needed explanation and clarification from my tutor to explain what was required.
Programme was well structured and the regular calls with my tutor were very helpful.
Received lots of support from my colleagues and management to help me learn and complete assessments.
I received lots of support from my tutor. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was fantastic and always a joy to talk to.
The knowledge I have gained will benefit my progression as a manager and I can review work I have completed to assist me with different situations if needed.
The branch sometimes arrange out of work meet ups and activities which help with team building, for example foot golf etc.

Travis Perkins has been a great company to work for, I feel very supported and have had a fast career progression since joining - I will be starting my 3rd role with Travis Perkins in February (I only joined at the end of 2020!) and every role has been progression up the ladder.
Always be willing to learn, and you will progress.
