I review peoples proposed works and evaluate if they will cause any significant damage to our infrastructure. If they do I will tell them what they need to do in order to meet our requirements.
I have developed my email writing skills to make them more specific and concise emails so our customers don't get confused at any point. I have learnt how to use a variety of new systems in my work such as GIS which lets me see our. asset plans.
I greatly enjoy my program and believe it was the best choice being able to study and gain experience working at the same time. I am surrounded by good people who are always available to help and they are easy to be around which makes the situation better.
It is pretty well organized because I normally have university on the Monday and the remainder of the week is spent working. They have set out a clear plan for me and have even made steps after my apprenticeship ends.
My employer are more than helpful whether that is financially with funding the university including the travel. Or in day to day work were I am surrounded by people that have been in a similar situation to me and therefore can offer advice and guidance if I ever need it.
My employer are more than helpful whether that is financially with funding the university including the travel. They also allow for time to do some of my Uni work and everyone in the team can help if I am struggling on a piece of coursework or any task.
I will definitely help me in my role whether that is demanding more respect from others due to me role being more highly regarded or because my knowledge of the field would be more so I would be able to preform more efficiently.
There are some for example the raft race and our team had a Christmas dinner out but there isn't an abundance of activities.
