  • After finishing and IT BTEC Extended Diploma, which included Digital Marketing aspects, this apprenticeship seemed like the perfect fit for my future and first job. The skills and tools that I have used have definitely improved my current skills for the role as well as learning new skills such as how to use the best wording and emojis in post to reel in customer's attention, keeping to a schedule, answer customer queries and much more.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • So far, I am very much enjoying my time at my workplace and during this apprenticeship. I like how it is a chance to better improve on myself as a person, helps me learn new things that would help me as an employee in the future and it seems like a great alternative to university. The people here are very friendly here as well as the bosses are very good a guiding me in the right direction to help me better carry out my job roles.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My Apprenticeship program is organised well from both my workplace and the assessors as well. I keep to a weekly schedule that tells me what I need to that week as well as what social media posts should go out also. My assessor also has regular meetings with me to discuss the future of the apprenticeship and to ask how I am getting on and if I have any questions. I also record every week in a time log to let my assessor know what I've been up to.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support I receive from my employer has been amazing so far during my apprenticeship and it really helps me to improve as a Digital Marketer. We can easily communicate through the designated group chat that we use to discuss upcoming plans, give feedback on ads I make and much more that makes the group chat such a useful tool.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The support I have received from my assessor has been amazing and has definitely supported me in my efforts in this apprenticeship. My assessor is always a phone call or a text away whenever I have a question it is answered as soon as possible, and the regular meetings and support will help me and I am very happy to be using LMP.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have felt like I am improving in my job role because of the feedback and recommendations I have received from everyone. For example, I was using PowerPoint to create ads and I thought it was fine to use until my assessor recommended I use Canva instead. I have been using this tool ever since and it has drastically improved my work and that's just one of the things that has been recommended to me.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Just some of the things that I do at work is that they let me go to my brother's place of work Sussex Mower Services, which is great because they also teach me things about gardening equipment like which parts go where and how to clean it etc as well as having fun while there. At DC, they also invite me to go to a takeaway place some Fridays for breakfast. It is still early doors at the moment and I hope to be involved in some more extra curricular activities soon.

  • 9a. Would you recommend LMP Education to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because apprenticeships are a great way to go if you are not sure about university as it is a great alternative. It is more built around you and it is your own personal working experience, it's very interactive and enjoyable and it is very beneficial to have this kind of experience on your CV as it'll be sure to interest employers. And you get paid to do it along the way.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LMP Education?
  • The advice I would give is to definitely take various progress marking procedures such as weekly updates (like a diary), calendars to know which tasks have to be carried out that day, taking notes of what feedback you receive. This is because you will become a much better asset during your apprenticeship if you can go back and get up to date with all your roles. This is also because having a progress report will be sure to make you feel better and excited for the future as it definitely did for me.
