  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • IT Support Analyst. Deal with users around the business and provide technical support. Work towards SLA's and KPI'S. Look after team members and ensure they're doing their job accordingly - supporting wherever is needed. Keep track of projects and delegate those out to the team members.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • New skills - Managing a team, how to better organize and monitor projects. As well as communication within the team. Stronger skills on hosting meetings and speaking up.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Really enjoyed the course that I was on. It gave me more insight to different areas that I needed to extend my experience on.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very - had a few different tutors as one left, someone else took over and they left and then a new one. Was very structured and got myself back on track quickly - especially after having some maternity leave.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Could of had more. Line manager was brilliant and understood, however, on job experience wasn't great because they didn't really understand the things I needed to complete as part of the course.

  • Alot. My tutor, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], gave me lots of support, She understood when i was struggling and worried, especially for the end point assessment - she got in touch with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] to also help me complete the exam and my presentation.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very well. It gave me an insight to areas of my job role that I didn't really know much about - such as conflicts etc. The extra training that we received was really helpful to go in depth an all the areas within a team leader role.
