I work in Record to Report, which involves collecting, processing and delivering relevant, timely and accurate information. It involves using excel and other finance softwares, quite often to prepare report.
One skill i have developed is my communication skills, this has mainly been through being in the office and having calls with different people in different countries.
So far I have really enjoyed my time as an apprentice at AstraZeneca, coming into the office is enjoyable as I am usually with other apprentices, my managers are always near by to support me with any queries I may have and in general everyone is friendly and welcoming.
My programme has a clear structure regarding both my study outside of work and my learnings on the job. This is something I have found useful as it has meant I have been able to track my progress.
Everyone at AstraZeneca are more than happy to help with any type of problem. There are many people available to us if we are in need of help, for example: our line managers, mentors, buddies and anyone in our team/network.
My training provider gives me lots of support, as we are given our tutors work emails and have regular meetings with our college mentor. There are lots of videos on the website and checkpoints throughout each module to check your progress.
My qualification definitely helps me in my apprenticeship, as it helps me better understand the purpose behind my day to day tasks and when using financial softwares/programmes.
There are many social societies available to join which cater for many interests, as well as lots of volunteering events and online events to join to discuss and learn about various topics.

AstraZeneca is a company full of amazing people all with the aim of helping patients which I think is great way to positively impact the world.
My number one tip would be to do your research on the company and its value and to be honest in your interviews. Lastly, don't stress as the recruitment team make the assessment day as stress free as possible.
