I am responsible for a number of large commercial clients, for whom I arrange their insurance cover. In doing this, I regularly contact clients and underwriters, and ensure that any insurance related tasks are completed to deadlines.
I have developed my skills in using resources such as Outlook and Word, but also developed my organisational skills and built confidence in speaking to new people over the phone. I have learnt how to place insurance cover and how everyone's roles in the sector contribute to this.
I really enjoy my programme - everyone has been so helpful and welcoming. I work in a sociable office where everyone is keen to help and I can ask anyone a question if I need help. I have a great work - study balance and feel really happy in my work.
There is a clear structure to my study sessions and my tutor schedules regular sessions to catch up.
My employer is extremely supportive - I can always ask questions or speak to others. They allow me time to study and give me enough work but not an overwhelming workload.
I participate in regular study sessions and catch ups. I do find that the catch ups are of a tick - box nature and quite robotic however the study session tutor is extremely supportive
I understand why regulations are in place, what different roles within the business do and how to perform my role as best as I can
There are regular social activities and networking events which I have found particularly beneficial. My manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] arranges regular events with the other regional apprentices to build connections and teamworking skills

I have found it a fantastic place to work. I feel as though they take great care to ensure it is a sociable and positive place to work. I have been so well supported both in my role and apprenticeship.
The job involves taking on a lot of responsibility and accountability for your own work. You have to manage your own time and workload, and ensure the apprenticeship work doesn't fall behind. It is a fantastic place to work with lots of opportunities.
