I do daily paper work, Make marketing calls, Do the daily banking, Answer all phone calls, I serve on counter time to time to help my co workers, I always make sure the coffee is full ready for customers and that we have a clean depot ready to greet customers.

Yes i have developed communication, team work and business skills. I have Learned how the business works and learned how to use all our software systems. Another skill I have developed is timing, and product knowledge off our stock and kitchen parts. I am learning new skills everyday working at Howdens.

I really enjoy this program, i love my team they are always pushing me to learn more and helping me along the way. I have learned so much knowledge during this program and it has helped me grow as a person. I enjoy my job and hope I am kept on after my apprentice is up.

My programme is structured well. Ever month I have an apprentice man come out to my depot to help me with my core work. A lot ! My employer is always pushing me to learn more and even in other aspects of the business, They always help me and give me advice and is always keeping me busy to make sure I feel apart of the team. My team are my best supporters and want to see me do well.

I have the loveliest trainer he always brings me breakfast and helps me on my cores work. I can call him and ask him any questions I have about my work and he will always answer and give me help. I could'nt ask for a better trainer for my qualifications.

My qualification helps me realise what my most important job role is in my business industry. My trainer will remind me how well I'm doing which pushes me to learn more and want to do well in the company. And i can get more qualifications and work my way up in Howdens.

Howdens always keeps customers happy. We give freebies to customers and our team will also be treated by things like hampers and trips to keep the positivity levels high. Any customer needs are always met and we have top design services and our stock is always in and if not we can get it next day which is perfect for the trades men.

When applying to Howdens they look for someone egar to help the business develop. They are also looking for someone who is confident and has abit of chat to them, which is what the customers like. They also want someone who keeps it professional on the job and is respectful.
